The late antique marble original is at the Louvre in Paris. A full-size bronze replica came to Waldemarsudde in 1905. Prince Eugen paid 7,000 francs for the replica. Historic artisanal soapmaking: The flowers and herbs are picked and their essences distilled. The aromatic oil is mixed with lye, herbs and the finest vegetable oil. The resulting mixture is dried for seven weeks to produce a mild soap that is gentle on the skin. The garden soap has a mild peeling effect for use after outdoor work and makes a lovely shower soap.
